National Hockey Training Camp begins in Lahore, Pakistan

LAHORE: National Hockey training camp begins in Lahore under the Pakistan Hockey Federation, to prepare for the Azlan Shah Hockey Cup Malaysia, February 11 -20th. Players begin training in training hockey camp, with 31 players having reported to the camp.

According to the details, the National Fitness and Training Camp for the preparation of the National Senior Hockey team organized by Pakistan Hockey Federation has started in Lahore. So far, 31 players have reported in this training hockey camp at National Hockey Stadium Lahore, Head Coach and Camp Commandant Olympian Khwaja Junaid told the media that 12 players are playing hockey leagues abroad, and will join the national hockey camp a few days later. The National Hockey Training Camp will focus on improving the skills, techniques, physical and psychological aspects of the players, he said in response to a question. He said that they would work hard to prepare the players for a major event and they have full faith in God that players will work hard and diligently towards improving the game and will name the country and nation.

Head Coach National Hockey Team along with Olympian Khawaja Junaid National Hockey Coaches Zaheer Ahmed Babar, Ajmal Khan Lodhi, Olympian Sameer Hussain and other National Hockey Coaches and Trainers National are training the players. National Hockey Team Dr. Syed Asad Abbas Shah is also performing his professional duties at the National Training Camp.
