Another star of Pakistan hockey sets sails for eternity. 1960 Rome Olympics gold medalist Olympian Abdul Waheed Khan has passed away. President Pakistan Hockey Federation Brigadier Khalid Sajjad Khokhar and Secretary General PHF Olympian Asif Bajwa have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of former national hockey team centre forward Abdul Waheed Khan. In the condolence message of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, prayers have been offered for the high ranks of the deceased and the patience for his family.

During his career, Olympian Abdul Waheed Khan represented Pakistan at the 1960 Rome Olympics, winning a gold medal, a gold medal at the 1962 Asian Games in Jakarta and a silver medal at the 1966 Asian Games in Bangkok. And raised the green crescent flag of Pakistan in the world.
