Army, Naval and Air Force Men Hockey Tournament is held annually in January. 22nd Army, Naval and Air Force Men Hockey Tournament was held at Thein Phyu Hockey Pitch, Yangon, Myanmar from 11th to 25th January 2019. Yangon Command, Central Command, Nay Pyi Taw Command, Tringle Command, South East Command, Navy and Air Force and No(11) Light Infantry Division teams participated in the tournament. The Organization Committee divided two groups and the two teams from each group went on to the semi-final. The first semi-final was played between Yangon Command and Nay Pyi Taw Command, Yangon Command beat their opponents 4-0 and second semi-final was played by Central Command and Navy, Navy beat competitors by 3-2. The Bronze Medal match was played by Central Command and Nay Pyi Taw Command, Nay Pyi Taw Command beat 2-1 and got the bronze medal. The final match was held on 15:00, 25th January. Yangon Command and Navy played in the final match. They played 1-1 draw within playing time. After that Shoot-out-Competition happened. Finally, Yangon command beat 3-1 and got the gold medal.
The champion is Yangon Command, second is Navy and the third is Nay Pyi Taw. It is fourth times for Yangon Command and Second times for Navy.
Myanmar Hockey Federation donated 15 sticks and 5 balls to all participating teams and Myanmar Police Force team. And donated the 10 lakh kyats to the Tournament Organization Committee.
