AHF-FHI COACHING WORKSHOP – Hockey 5: Rules, Principles, Structure

AHF Online Education has successfully completed its coaching workshop on Hockey 5s which was exclusively organized for the Indonesian Hockey Federation (FHI).

Coaches from all over Indonesia participated in this 1-Day workshop. The workshop was conducted online today on 18 August 2021.

FIH Academy Experts Mr Tahir Zaman, Mr Lim Chiow Chuan and Mr Maggid Abu Talib facilitated the workshop.

The 4-hours session provided detailed insight on the subject and won an excellent reception. Following key-notes were covered during the session:

1. Understanding the basic concept of Hockey 5, means & ways;
2. Hockey 5 Game Rules;
3. Different playing formations;
4. Understanding physical, mental, technical and tactical elements of Hockey 5;
5. How Hockey 5 can best compliment hockey 11; and
6. Understanding the most important and very relevant aspects of hockey 5s (Generally).

The workshop was powered by the AHF partner POLYTAN.
