The Indoor Cup continued today in Chonburi, Thailand with seven new matches in an action packed match-day with a 69 goals for both, Men’s and Women’s categories.

Men’s Indoor Hockey Asia Cup 2019

In Pool A, Malaysia maintained complete control with a new victory, comfortably beating Philippines in a record match in the tournament of 20-1. The debutants still can’t find their place in the cup yet. Meanwhile, Iran won over Bangladesh in 8-0 in an easy match for the defending champions, who currently sit third in Pool A by goal difference.

Kazakhstan first match in the Tournament proved their strength as they goaled Nepal 12-1, getting the 2nd spot in Pool B. Singapore won’t give up their dream to enter the semi-finals even though the lost against Uzbekistan 1-2, who currently hold 1st place in their pool.

Women’s Indoor Hockey Asia Cup 2019

In the second day, Thailand, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan got three victories. The home favorites debuted against Chinese Taipei by 8-0, and the win in fact put them top of Pool B.

Kazakhstan first match in the Cup proved why the defending champion is still candidates, winning 8-0 against Nepal, who are in the lowest place in Pool B.  Meanwhile, Uzbekistan continued their excellent start after yesterday’s game, beating Philippines 11-0, leading the pool.
