In the last day of the AirAsia Women’s Junior AHF Cup, Singapore 2019 lots of action took place, catch up and see who won the tournament.
First, Chinese Taipei took control of the game early with a goal in minute five against Bangladesh, who scored six minutes later. A full-powered Chinese Taipei girls counter-attacked with 3 goals, later on securing another victory by 4-2, and finishing 3rd in the table.
In the second match, Uzbekistan smashed a weak Sri Lanka by 8-0, making a showcase of goals for everyone with no chances for the other team to make a comeback. Tough this wasn’t enough for the Uzbekistan girls to achieve the top, as they finished 2nd place.
The last match of the cup was an uneventful game between Singapore and Hong Kong China, with no goals, ending in a draw 0-0. The host nation, already at the top of the table despite any possible result, played it safe and won the gold finishing on top of the table with 13 points, congratulations!
