The Bangladesh Hockey Federation celebrated International Olympic day in high spirits and in a festive mood, the BHF took a great initiative to organize the Olympic day run on the 23rd of June. The event had a great response in terms of attendance, as locals from all over the country took part in the event and most importantly had a good time.
The crowd consisted of National Ex players, the Women’s team and children, together everyone contributed to add life and meaning to the Olympic day, furthermore, three exhibitions took place in Maulana Bhasani stadium, all matches were played in the blue surface.
Overall it was an immensely successful event and a learning opportunity for the children that participated.
The Asian Hockey Federation feels proud of BHF’s success and hopes to see similar initiatives in the future.
