Bangladesh Lifts Trophy in Men’s AHF Cup Jakarta 2022

The last day of Men’s AHF Jakarta 2022 was the 20th March 2022. The day saw sensational competitions. Four matches played on 20 March included 7th/8th Place Match, 5th/6th Place Match, 3rd/4th Place Match (Bronze Medal), 1st/2nd Place Match (The Final).

Bangladesh defeated Oman to win Gold in the competition. The thrilling finale between Oman and Bangladesh was a 1-1 draw. Bangladesh won the shootouts round from Oman by 5-3.

The Bronze game was also a massive show. Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan fought tooth and nail to claim the Bronze. The sensational show ended with Sri Lanka winning the Bronze by 4-3.

Thailand remained 5th, Iran 6th, Indonesia 7th, Uzbekistan 8th and Singapore 9th in Men’s AHF Cup Jakarta 2022.

The magnanimous closing ceremony of the Men’s AHF Cup Jakarta along with all the tournament matches were digitally spectated around the globe via FIH Watch Hockey.

The Indonesia Hockey’s President Major General Mayjend TNI Budi Sulistijono, the Secretary-General of the Indonesia Hockey Federation Mr Yasser Arafat Suaeidy and many other VIPs were part of the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony was a massive representation of Men’s AHF Cup’s conclusion.
