BHF succesfully completes first phase of Olympic Solidarity Development of National Sports System Project Coaches Course

Bangladesh Hockey Federation successfully concluded the first phase of the Olympic Solidarity Development of National Sports System project coaches course on Monday, 20 January. Twenty grassroots coaches participated in the 4 day long course, funded by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and joint management of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) and Bangladesh Hockey Federation. Mr. Ashiqur Rahman Miku and Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Deputy Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association, attended the closing ceremony of the course in the conference room of Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium. Bangladesh Hockey Federation senior vice president Abdul Rashid Sikder, vice president Zaki Ahmed Ripon and acting general secretary Mohammad Yousuf were present on the ocassion. During this time, the Memorial Blazer and Crest were presented to the Chief Instructor of the course and the former Olympian Seung-jin Yu (SEUNG-JIN, YOO) from the Bangladesh Olympic Association and Bangladesh Hockey Federation.

Seung-jin Yoo will serve as a consultant for the U-20 team on January 21 and 22 before leaving Bangladesh. Note that the FIH Master Coach will return to Dhaka on 18th February to conduct the second phase of the course.
