Punjab Whites, Army and WAPDA took the field on the second day of Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament 21.

According to the details, under the Youth Hockey Development Vision under the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Balochistan, Pakistan Hockey Federation and Balochistan Hockey Association the Balochistan government has decided to play three matches on the second day of the All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament to promote and revive the national game under the auspices of the Asian Games.

The first match was played between Punjab Whites and Balochistan Whites. After a tense contest, Punjab Whites defeated Balochistan Whites 0-2.

The match between Balochistan Whites and Punjab Whites ended in a 3-0 draw for three quarters. In the fourth quarter of the match for the Punjab Whites, Arsal scored a brilliant goal through a field goal on the pass of Hafiz Ephraim Manga, a promising player of the Punjab Whites. The second goal was scored by Punjab Whites player Uzair on penalty stroke. The match was supervised by umpires Sabteen Raza and Mazhar Wasim while Mubashir Ali was the reserve umpire.

The second match was played between Pakistan Army and Sindh Whites which Pakistan Army easily won 1-6. The experienced team of Pakistan Army played a brilliant game and captured the match in the early moments and launched several attacks on the team of Sindh Whites. Veteran Pakistan Army Ambassador Safir Hussain scored the first hat trick of the event while Muhammad Arsalan scored two goals and Wasim Akram scored one.

Scored a goal Arsalan Haider scored the only goal for Sindh Whites through a drag flick on a penalty corner. The match was supervised by umpires Mohammad Ali and Wali Mohammad while Sajid Abbas was the reserve umpire.

The third match was played between Pakistan WAPDA and Islamabad which Pakistan WAPDA easily won 0-5 in a one sided contest. Rana Waheed scored two goals for WAPDA Ali Aziz, Ijaz Ahmed and Tauseeq Arshad scored one goal each. The match was supervised by umpires Haroon Rashid and Faisal Siam while Abdul Manan was the reserve umpire.

Olympian Anjum Saeed is acting as the tournament director of the event while organizing secretary Amjad Satti, secretary Balochistan Hockey Association and umpires manager Kamran Sharif International are acting officials. A team of veteran technical officials has been deployed by the federation to conduct the event in the light of the rules of the International Hockey Federation.
