On the third day of the Chief Minister’s Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament, Pakistan WAPDA scored 12 goals against Sindh Colors. National Bank defeated Punjab Whites 2-4 in a thrilling match. In the third match, Punjab Colors defeated Balochistan Colors 7-2 in an interesting match.
All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Gold Cup Hockey Tournament under the auspices of Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Balochistan under the auspices of Youth Hockey Development Vision, Pakistan Hockey Federation and Balochistan Hockey Association for the promotion, development and revival of the national game. Three more matches were decided on the third day.
The first match was played between Pakistan Wapda and Sindh Colors which was won by Pakistan Wapda by 1-12 goals. The match was supervised by umpires Mahmood Ali and Mubashir while Sajid performed the duties of reserve umpire. Judges were Sheikh Ali Abid and Munawar Hussain. And Irfan Zia, while Muhammad Ayub acted as the technical officer.
The second match was played between the teams of National Bank and Punjab Whites in which National Bank defeated Punjab Whites 2-4 in a thrilling match. In this interesting match, the young players of Punjab scored two goals in a row in the first quarter of the match against the experienced and experienced team of National Bank. In the second quarter, National Bank scored two more goals in a row to give Punjab Whites the lead. National Bank scored two more goals in the fourth quarter of the match. Arsalan Qadir, Amir Ali, Junaid Manzoor and Hanan Shahid scored one goal each for National Bank while Shahzeb and Hafiz Ephraim Manga scored one goal each for Punjab Whites. The match was supervised by umpires Faisal Siam and Abdul Manan while Abdul Wali was the reserve umpire. The judges of the match were M Shakeel, Hamza Tufail and Yasir Lodhi, while Muhammad Ali performed the duties of the technical officer.
The third match was played between Punjab Colors and Balochistan Colors which was won by Punjab Colors 2-7 in an interesting match. Promising player Zain Ijaz scored four goals for the host team Balochistan Colors on behalf of Punjab. Emad, Zeeshan Bukhar and Abdul Manan scored one goal each. Asfand scored two brilliant goals for Balochistan Colors. International umpire Haroon Rashid and umpire Sohail won the match. Akram Janjua supervised while Fahad performed the duties of the reserve empire. The panel of judges included Malik Shafqat Hussain, Shiraz Khurshid and M Ahsan, while Ali Abbas performed the duties of the technical officer.
Olympian Anjum Saeed is the tournament director of the event while international hockey umpire Kamran Sharif Chaudhry is the umpire’s manager. Dr SA Majid and Aslam Khan Niazi are the Assistant Tournament Directors of the event. Organizing Secretary Amjad Satti Secretary Balochistan Hockey Association is performing his duties.
