A friendly match between Macau and Chinese Taipei took place on the 20th of April, 2019 at National Chushan Senior High School, Chushan Township, Nantou County. The representatives of Macau were Lusitania, whereas Chinese Taipei was represented by Nantou Hockey Team.
Around 35 players in total were participating in the match and enjoying the opportunity to challenge and learn from each other. According to Mr. Tsai Yi-Chu, the President of Chinese Taipei Hockey Association, the friendly match between the two teams is expected to be held annually to strengthen the bond between Chinese Taipei and Macau.
