The purpose of this Exchange Tournament was to provide a platform to young hockey players to demonstrate the results of their practice, gain better game experience, learn better skills and develop sports spirits.
Kakamigahara City Hockey Association together with Gifu Prefecture Hockey Association organized this program. The program was sponsored by Kakamigahara City, Kakamigahara Board of Education and Kakamigahara City Sports Association.
The tournament started on 20 November 2021 and was concluded very successfully. Tournament was played at Kawasaki Heavy Industries Hockey Stadium, Kakamigahara City.
6 teams each for Men and Women participated in the tournament as mentioned below:
[Men] Kakamigahara City Sports Boy Scouts (Gifu Prefecture), Kani City Sports Boy Scouts (Gifu Prefecture), Omuro Red Vancourt (Tochigi Prefecture), Suijo Sports Boy Scouts (Shiga Prefecture), Asahi Sports Boy Scouts (Fukui Prefecture), Yamanashi Sports Boy Scouts (Yamanashi Prefecture)
[Women] Kakamigahara City Sports Boy Scouts (Gifu Prefecture), Isurugi Sports Boy Scouts (Toyama Prefecture), Omuro Black Jeanne (Tochigi Prefecture), Suijo Sports Boy Scouts (Shiga Prefecture), Asahi Sports Boy Scouts (Fukui Prefecture), Yamanashi Sports Boy Scouts (Yamanashi Prefecture)
Each participating team consisted upon one representative, one manager, one coach, and 12 players or less.
The teams were structured for the student between Grade 3 and Grade 6. There was no participation fee.
The tournament was held keeping in view the implementation of the COVID related SOPs.
After the tournament, there was a beautiful closing ceremony. Winning and runner-up teams were awarded medals whereas 3rd place teams were given certificates.
