On day 06 of the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Dhaka 2021, India beat Japan by 6-0. In the second match of the day, Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 6-2.
The massive goal lines of these two matches created a surge in the points table for Pakistan. At the same time, Japan lost their points. After the 2 matches on day 6, Pakistan retained a number 3 whereas Japan came to be number 4 on the points table.
India, Korea, Pakistan and Japan managed their way into the semi-finals of the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Dhaka 2021.The first semi-final match will be played between Korea and Pakistan whereas second semi-final will be played between India and Japan. Both matches will be played on 21 December at Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium Dhaka.
