This morning at Istana Nigara, Kuala Lumpur, His Majesty Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah received the President’s Award from FIH President Dr. Narinder Dhruv Batra. In attendance were FIH CEO Thierry Weil, AHF Chief Executive Dato Tayyab Ikram, and AHF Vice President Dato Manjit Majid.
“I am truly honored to be able to present the award to His Royal Highness and we truly value his immense love and contribution towards the sport of Hockey. It was an honor for me and FIH to be here to meet the King at the Palace,” said Dr. Batra, about meeting the King.
