Indonesia wins Bronze in Men’s Asian Games Qualifier 2022

Facing the Thailand in the bronze medal match on 15 May 2022, Indonesia put up a remarkable show. The fierce battle got settled with a final score of 4 to 3 with Indonesia winning the match.

Chief Executive Asian Hockey Federation Dato Tayyab Ikram extended his special congratulations on the occasion, “I would like to congratulate Indonesia Men’s National Hockey Team for their massive performance and achievement of this remarkable feat. My second congratulations for Indonesia team on their qualification to Hangzhou Asian Games. Indonesia Hockey Team has indeed made great efforts and they have covered a long distance in a considerably short period of time. This involves the great efforts made by the Indonesia Hockey Federation (FHI) and their young, dynamic and visionary leadership. In the course of very short time, the amount of work done by the Indonesia Hockey Federation is admirable, which includes all the aspects of development, organisational structure, formation of splendid hockey teams and much more. I once again congratulate Indonesia Hockey Federation for all the good work they have done so far, and my best wishes to them for the future endeavours. We are looking forward to see magnanimous Asian Hockey events starting in a couple of weeks in Indonesia. In the end, I extend my best wishes to the hockey team of Indonesia for their performance in the coming times.”
