October 15, 21: Chairman Railways has appointed International Hockey Officer Rashid Mahmood Butt as Vice President of Pakistan Railways Sports Control Board. Rashid Mahmood Butt – FIH Qualified Umpires Manager, Former International Hockey Empire and FIH Empires Educator. The Chairman Pakistan Railways has approved the appointment of FIH Qualified Umpires and Educator Rashid Mahmood Butt as Vice President of Pakistan Railways Sports Control Board. The Railway Administration had sent three names for the said post.
Minister for Railways Azam Swati selected Rashid Mehmood Butt in view of his excellent track record in sports. According to the procedure, his name was sent to the Railways in a chair. Three days ago, the Chairman Railways approved the appointment of Rashid Mehmood Butt as the Vice President of the Pakistan Railway Sports Board. He has held the post of Sports Officer for over a year. On Wednesday, he took charge of his post in the Sports Office of Pakistan Railway Stadium.
