The 2nd session of the National Hockey Development Program Grassroots Centre concluded this week with a lot of talent showcased by the youngsters. The parents of the children played a vital role in children’s performance. Their motivation helped the kids perform exceptionally.
The event was well-coordinated; all the registrations and the stations – a job splendidly done by the MHC & NHDP Team. The essential contribution of the leaders like DATO Seri Subhan and Dr Shamala deserve a tribute in publicising hockey among the coming generations.
National Coaches Nasihin, Amin and Roslan with the national players Najmi, Syed Syafiq, Juliani, Lily, Syaf, Zulaika and Iren had much of zest to find the young talent.
Zibah, MHC Development Committee member and Azam from the NSC did excellently.
The sessions for selection will resume after Hari Raya and the kids – who have registered for the program – will be gotten in touch. The selection is being done in batches!
The player selection session for the Root Center, National Hockey Development Program (NHDP) at Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium is ongoing for the second session.
