Dear Asian Hockey Family,
Best greetings to the Asian Hockey Family. I hope you are all well and safe during these challenging times. Please know we are thinking of you and wishing you continued good health.
I have been monitoring the matter of postponement of events and their rescheduling. I would like to assure everyone that we are on the track of recovery, and will soon start seeing tournaments happening again. We even have dates approved by the FIH for the Men’s Asian Champion’s Trophy, which is set to be held in March 2021. This paints a very positive picture for the future.
The Asian Hockey Federation also realizing the need to gain firsthand information conducted a survey of our Member and Potential NAs, with the aim of better understanding the implications of COVID-19, receiving a very positive response in return.
In such difficult times, the Asian Hockey Federation has been extremely active in engaging our stakeholders and in return garnering very positive results. I must commend AHF for all their efforts, especially during the pandemic.
We must keep our spirits high and come out of this pandemic stronger than ever before.
