Five matches were played on the second day of National Senior Hockey Championship 2020 under the auspices of the Pakistan Hockey Federation. The special guest on the occasion was Col. R. Ahmad Nawaz. He was accompanied by Chairman Selection Committee Olympian Manzoor Junior Members Selection Committee Olympian Ayaz Mahmood, Olympian Nasir, Olympian Wasim Feroze, Head Coach Olympian Khawaja Junaid and Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali.
Syed Zahir Shah has been assigned the responsibilities of Tournament Director by Pakistan Hockey Federation to supervise the ongoing PHF Premier Domestic Event at Mari Petroleum Astroturf Hockey Stadium Ayub Park Rawalpindi hosted by Mari Petroleum Company while Hassan Akhtar Chaudhry, Dr. Ahsan Tanveer and Mohammad Yaseen have been appointed as Assistant Tournament Directors. International Butts Manager Rashid Butt has been appointed as the Umpire Manager of this event.
The first match was played between Pakistan Wapda and Pakistan Police in which Pakistan Wapda defeated Pakistan Police 2-7. Samiullah scored three goals, Aleem Bilal scored two goals, Ijaz Ahmed and Umar Bhatta scored one goal each for Pakistan WAPDA while Hamza scored two goals for Pakistan Police. The match was supervised by umpires Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din and Mubashir Ali while Amir Hamza was the reserve umpire. Judges were Abdul Qayyum Dogar and Hamza Tufail, while Haroon performed his professional duties as a technical officer.
The second match was played between Pakistan Port Qasim and Pakistan Air Force which was won by Pakistan Air Force 1-2. Ahmar Ali and Captain Shahbaz scored one goal each for Pakistan Air Force. The only goal for Port Qasim was scored by Abuzar. The match was supervised by umpires Faisal Siam and Mahmood Ali while Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din was the reserve umpire. The judges were Qayyum Dogar and Haroon while Ali Abbas performed his professional duties as a technical officer.
The third match was played between Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy. Which Pakistan Army won by 2-3. Muhammad Abbas scored two goals and Arsalan scored one goal for Pakistan Army. Muhammad Sawir and Zulqarnain scored one goal each for Pakistan Navy. The match was supervised by umpires Haroon and Mazhar while Ghulam Mubashir was the reserve umpire. Ali Abbas and Shafqat Malik acted as judges while Shahid Rabbani performed his professional duties as a technical officer.
The fourth match was played between Mari Petroleum and National Bank of Pakistan which was won by National Bank of Pakistan 0-1. Abu Bakar scored the only goal of the match for National Bank of Pakistan. The match was supervised by umpires Hafiz Atif Malik and Yasir Khurshid while Banesh was the reserve umpire. Judges were Muhammad Yaqub and Zahid while Hamza performed his professional duties as a technical officer.
The fifth match of the event was played between Sui Southern and Punjab which was won by Sui Southern 1-6. Round Hanan did. The match was supervised by umpires Sohail Janjua and Waqas Butt while Kamran Hussain was the reserve umpire. Judges were Mohammad Yaqub and Shafqat Malik while Zahid performed his professional duties as a technical officer.
