Olympic Day Hockey Series Gojra: National Bank and Gojra Colors were finalists, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister for Sports Bilal Asghar Warraich was the Chief Guest.
The final of the Olympic Day Hockey Series was played 0n 28 June under the auspices of Aslam Roda Hockey Academy in connection with the Olympic Day celebrations in light of the guidelines of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
The match was played between National Bank and Gojra Keller. Gojra Keller scored two goals in reply to one goal and won the title of the series on behalf of the National Bank. The match will be supervised by umpires Mahmood Ali and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din while Ahmed and Owais Qureshi will be the reserve umpires.
Abdul Malik will be the technical officer while Muhammad Atheer and Hafiz Rizwan will be the judges. Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab for Sports Chaudhry Bilal Asghar Warraich was the special guest of the closing ceremony. Organizing Secretary of the event Olympian Shahbaz Jr. and Series Director Khawar Javed International. A large number of Olympians were specially invited on the occasion of the final in which Olympian Shahbaz Jr, Olympian Zeeshan Ashraf, Olympian Khalid, Olympian Tariq Imran, Olympian Nadeem ND, Olympian Tariq Aziz, Olympian Imran Shah Goalkeeper, Olympian Tawfiq Arshad, Olympian Rizwan Jr were included. A cake was also cut at the event in reference to Olympic Day.
