Oman Hockey Association announces their National Women’s Hockey Team. The squad was announced and presented during the opening ceremony of the Women’s Asia Cup Muscat 2022 today on 19 January 2022.
President Oman Hockey Association Dr Marwan Juma al-Juma presented the Oman National Women’s Hockey Team.
The AHF Chief Dato’ Tayyab Ikram extended his congratulations to Oman Hockey on completion of this remarkable feat and named Oman the leading figure in the development of regional hockey. Dato’ Tayyab also mentioned that the formation of women’s team and delivery of Women’s Asian Cup Muscat 2022 is a very applaudable step and it will encourage the female participation in sports.
