Lahore Blue defeated Nankana white by 5-0 in the 1st Commissioner Lahore Division under 13 Hockey Tournament match at Johar Town Hockey Stadium Lahore. Yahya Najeeb ,Abdul Hadi Butt, Hashim , Ahmed Najeeb and Daim Baig scored one goal each from winning side
The Lahore Blue side started the game aggressively and earned back-to-back Penalty Corners in the second minute of the first quarter. Yahya Najeeb G converted the second Penalty Corner and helped Lahore take the lead at 1-0 in the third minute. Soon after Abdul Hadi Butt made a fantastic run in the right flank, but she couldn’t find the back of the net.
In the 12th minute, Hashim produced a fantastic ball and Muhammed Mujtaba Ghous tried to tap the ball into the goal, but the Nankana Goalkeeper pulled off a great save..
Rohan took a shot in the opening minutes of the second quarter, but unfortunately the ball went over the crossbar.
Abdul Hadi Butt made a remarkable run through the center in the opening minutes of the third quarter and scored the second goal from Lahore Blue. Lahore rode on the momentum and made another circle penetration in the 38th minute and Ahmed Najeeb Scored the third goal,
Imran produced a terrific ball and Daim Baig deflected it into the goal in the 40th minute to help England extend their lead at 4-0.
Fahad Biag took a shot in the 48th minute, but Nankana Goalkeeper successfully pushed the ball away from the goal, Muhammed Hashim converted a Penalty Corner and helped Lahore extend their lead even further at 5-0.
Before the start of the match both team introduce Former Olympian Captain Muhammed Sarwer and International Sohail Khalid Dar was chief guest of the match , Former International Shahid Aslam and Najeeb Khokhar also present on this occasion
