On the auspicious occasion of the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, which takes place annually on April 6th, individuals from worldwide are encouraged to acknowledge the positive impact of sports and physical activities on communities and individuals across the globe. In support of the peace through sport movement, Pakistani Junior hockey stars joined the #WhiteCard Campaign and shared special messages to celebrate the day.

Abdul Hannan Shahid, Athletes Ambassador of Asia Hockey, and Emerging Player of Asia, emphasized the potential of sports to bring people together, foster optimism, and rebuild trust. He stressed the importance of utilizing the significant influence of sports to contribute to creating a more promising and sustainable future for all.

Captain of the Pakistan White Team and National Junior Star, Murtaza Yaqoob, spoke of the collective interest in using the tremendous power of sports to build a better future. He urged everyone to join hands and celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace through the #WhiteCard initiative.

National Hockey Star, Ahtisham Aslam, highlighted the power of sports to align our passion, energy, and enthusiasm around a shared cause. He noted that the #WhiteCard campaign aims to promote sports as a tool for peace and to create more inclusive societies.
