The team’s first Olympic Game was played in South Korea 1988, where they finished in the 10th place. Their best performance to date was during Sydney 2000, where they won the Silver Medal after losing to the Netherlands.

South Korea’s worst result in an Olympic game was in their debut, South Korea 1988, despite being the host nation, they could not go through the preliminary rounds, finishing 10th place with a weak performance after winning over Kenya.

The team currently holds the 16th place in the world ranking

South Korea’s matches for the Olympic Qualifiers will take place in the Taranaki Hockey Club, Stratford, against New Zealand.
