Speedy Tigers – Malaysian Men’s Hockey Team reaches top 10 world-wide

KUALA LUMPUR: The Hockey Confederation of Malaysia (KHM) believes that the national hockey squad will be in a better ranking position in the future after successfully penetrating the top 10 groups in the world.

Based on the latest update of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the Speedy Tigers squad climbed one rung to 10th place in the world by collecting 1427,181 points, overtaking Canada which fell to 11th place in the world (1422,120 points).

The last time Malaysia was in the top 10 was 18 years ago in October 2003.

KHM president, Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal, said the success was an honor for the national hockey squad on its journey towards better achievements.
