Oman Starcare Gulf Fiesta 2017 will be held in Sultan Qaboos sports complex Muscat, Oman from 17-18 February 2017. The competition is being organized by the United Thalasary Sports Club Oman in association with Oman Hockey Association.
12 teams will take part in the Gulf Fiesta 2017. Six international teams participate with the following local team: Oman Veteran, Ahli-Sidab Club, Saham Club, UTSC Team, Coorg and Pak Falcon, The International teams are Dubai Hockey Club, Dada Bhai club Dubai, Young Star Club Bahrain, KSA Field Hockey Club Saudi Arabia, and One thousand Legs India.
According to the tournament director Mr. Javis Ahmed, the teams have been pooled into three groups of four teams each. Two teams from the each group will progress to the Quarterfinal. The remaining slots will be taken up by teams with the most number points.
