The 71st Republic Day Of India Hockey Festival was held recently at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex Busher – Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Under the patronage of H.E Shri Munu Mahawar, The Ambassador of India, the event was held in the presence of top sports and business personalities. It was a glittering hockey festival for the 14th year in a row under the patronage of the embassy of India and in coordination with the Oman Hockey Association. It was organized by Team Coorg Muscat and Friends of Naqvi Group.
The Chief Patron H.E Shri Munu Mahawar was the Chief Guest and presided over the function. He distributed the prizes along with Mr. BS Mehta, Managing Director of Muscat Pharmacy, who was the Guest of Honor. Captian Talib Al Wahaibi, Chairman OHA along with Mr. Kishore Bhai Mehta were Special Guests.
