The AHF would like to congratulate HH Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham bin Tarik on his recent appointment as the new Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth in the Sultanate of Oman.
We would like to wish him all the very best on his appointment as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, and wish him every success in his new duties.
We hope that under his guidance Oman sports grow to new heights and we are delighted at the prospect of a very bright future.
Dato’ Tayyab Ikram, Asian Hockey Federation Chief Executive, upon learning of the appointment had this to say:
“The development of Oman Sports is very important for the region and the Asian Continent. I am delighted to know about the appointment of His Highness as the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth. Oman Sports always works very closely with the Asian Hockey Federation and we always prioritize Oman as an esteemed stakeholder. I would like to wish His Highness every success in his new journey as a Sports leader of Oman. We assure our fullest support to his new undertaking.”
