The Asian Hockey Family Commemorates the 27 years of the Demise of Hockey Legend Bahauddin Kirmani

The Asian Hockey Family commemorates the 27th year of the passing away of legendary Pakistani hockey coach Mr. Bahauddin Kirmani, who held many important positions in the hockey circuit in Pakistan. He passed away on 01 June 1995.

Mr Bahauddin Kirmani served hockey in various roles. He remained an accomplished coach and an international umpire. He served as the manager of Pakistan Hockey Team. He played a key role in organizing the Hockey World Cup in Lahore.

President AHF Fumio Ogura said: “The Asian Hockey Family certainly remembers its heroes. We admire the contribution of Mr Kirmani to the development of hockey in Pakistan as well as Asia.”

AHF Chief Executive & Secretary General, Dato Tayyab Ikram said: “Mr Bahauddin Kirmani was an asset to hockey. His good work will live on as long as there is hockey in Asia. We are proud of our hockey heroes.”
