The Asian Hockey Federation reveals the Official Schedule for the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2021!

The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) has today released the Official Schedule for the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2021, which is set to be held from the 11th to the 19th of March, 2021.

Introduced in 2011, the inaugural Men’s Asian Champions Trophy was won by India. The Men’s Asian Champions 2018 Pakistan and India were declared joint winners by virtue of forfeiture of the final due to persistent rain. The tournament will witness intense competition among some of the top-performing teams from across Asia.

Bangladesh Hockey Federation will be the host of the tournament. The 6th edition of the biennial event will take place at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The event holds a special place as the first continental tournament in Asia in over 15 months. It is also the first major international event in 2021 apart from the Pro League. Audiences to the event will get to witness India and Japan live in action, as they prepare for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics.

This year, the continental tournament will feature host nation Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Korea, and Japan.
