Iran Hockey Federation organized first Women’s Hockey Camp in Shahriar, Tehran. The camp was organized in the presence of the Minister of Sports of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Sajjadi and President of the Iran Hockey Federation Dr.Bahram Ghadimi.
Under-23 men hockey camp was also organized in Shahriar, Tehran. The camp was also attended by President of IRAN Hockey Federation Dr.Bahram Ghadimi and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Hockey Federation Dr. Khosro Panah.
Dr. Sajjadi said that, we are specifically focused on developing women field hockey teams. Hockey is one of thetop global sports. Ministry of Sports will extend all its support to develop hockey all over Iran. He added that he was glad to see the results were already yielding throughout the nation.
Dr. Ghadimi said that, we will go on with full energy with the support of the ministry of sports be one of the best in Asia. Iranian president Dr Bahram Ghadimi announced that, Iranian national women teams has started their first camping in Shahriar city for field hockey after 50 years again. In this camping, more than 55 players participated as selected during the Iran women cup. Both camps were conducted for under 18 (Senior) and National team. He wished the best for Iranian Hockey Federation in terms of full activities in Field and Indoor hockey.
