The 3rd edition of Bangabandhu National School Hockey Tournament will begin from Saturday, January 25, with a total of 80 schools in 9 venues across the country. The tournament will be hosted by Bangladesh Hockey Federation and sponsored by First Security Islami Bank Limited.
In front of the event, the tournament logo and jersey were unveiled today at the BAF Falcon Hall, Tejgaon, Dhaka on Wednesday, January 22. Honorable Youth and Sports state minister Md. Zahid Ahsan Russell MP was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Also present were the honorable President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat BBP, OSP, NDU, PSC. Managing Director of First Security Islami Bank Mr. Syed Wasek Mohammad Ali, Vice-President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Chairman of the School Hockey Committee, Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, and other Presidents of BHF, Acting General Secretary of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Secretary of the School Hockey Federation MD Yousuf and other officials.
