The scoring profusion continues in the His Majesty Sultan Hockey Cup in Oman!

On Tuesday, four matches took place in the preliminary round of His Majesty the Sultan’s Cup of Hockey 19 Tournament 2020. Majees continued their superiority which they had been showcasing throughout the tournament, and lead in the first group after winning at Al-Salam with four goals to one goal, and with a clean goal, Al-Nassr defeated Salalah in the second group, and in the fourth group, Bousher repeated their victory with a clean six over Quriyat. While the last match of Tuesday between Muscat and Al-Bashaer ended with the latter’s victory 4-3, in an exciting match until it’s last moments.

In the first group, Al-Salam advanced with a professional goal in the 26th minute, before Majees equalized in the 36th minute, through Muhammad Adel, who added the second and third goals in minutes 52 and 57, and Osama Khamis concludes with Majees’ goals in the 58th minute.

As for victory, he needed a goal from his player Bassem Khater to score his fourth victory in the second group, in a match in which Salalah Club player Mazyad Abdul Hakim won the title of best player in the match, and the award was awarded to Muhammad Ahmad Al-Olayan, media journalist, sportswriter and director of the Rulers Affairs Office in the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, in the presence of Madian Ahmed Habzah, member of the Oman Hockey Federation and Secretary of Al Nasr Club.

In an exciting match, Muscat advanced with goals from Azad Al-Fazari and Adel Mubarak in the first and second quarters, before Al-Bashair turned the tables and scored four consecutive goals through Islam Mustafa, Laith Al-Maashari, Bassam Al-Owaisi, and Faris Al-Amiri.

Player Mohamed Salem Al Zadjali from Muscat Club won the best player award in the match.
