Under-16 National Hockey Championship 2020 – Day 4

Three matches were played on the fourth day of Under-16 National Hockey Championship 2020 under the auspices of the Pakistan Hockey Federation. Tournament Director Syed Zahir Shah, Former International Player and Coach Yasir Islam, Syed Zia-ur-Rehman Banuri, and Olympian Rahim Khan were also present.

The first match of the fourth day of the event was played between Punjab B and Balochistan A, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Balochistan A scored a goal from Abdul Nafees. Haroon Rashid, Sabtin Raza, reserve umpire Altaf officiated the match while judges Ejaz Ahmed and Aslam Shah technical officer Mohammad Yaqub officiated.

The second match was played between KPKA and Islamabad which was won by KPKA 2-4. Usman completed a hat trick by scoring three goals for KPKA while Usman scored one goal. Wajahat and Sikandar scored one goal each for Islamabad. The umpiring duties were evangelist, Mazhar Ali reserve umpire Wali Muhammad. Judges Muhammad Sheikh Ali Abid and Ijaz Ahmad while Aslam Shah performed the duties of Technical Officer.

The third match of the event was played between Punjab A and Balochistan B which Punjab A won 0-8. Basharat, Emad, Hanan, Ali Hassan scored one goal each while Ramzan and Rana Waleed scored two goals each for Punjab A. The duties of umpiring were Officer Ali, Sajid Abbas, and Reserve Umpire Owais. Judges Sheikh Ali Abid Shah, Mohammad Yaqub, and Mohammad Hamza performed the duties of Technical Officer.

Under the auspices of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, the National Under-16 Hockey Championship for the development and promotion of the national game under the Youth Hockey Development Vision will be held in Peshawar from November 28 to December 10. The PHF Youth Hockey Development Vision Four teams from Punjab while two teams each from KPK, Balochistan, and Sindh will participate in the mega event. One team each from Islamabad, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the event.
