The U19 4v4 League – co-organized by SHF and ActiveSG – kicked off last weekend, and while weather conditions saw earlier games called off, those at Sengkang were treated to sizzling action later in the day.
The first match witnessed a fierce competition – with Jansenites A beating their B team 7-3. In the evening’s only other fixture, the ActiveSG Academy pulled off a remarkable victory, beating the Singapore Club by 6-2.
Officials say that the league will polish these young kids, all the players are enthusiastic and motivated to perform well. This will be a good opportunity for them to learn. And obviously this league will also help in finding talents for the national side in future.
