Uzbekistan conducted 1st and 2nd rounds of the National Men & Women Hockey Championship in Andijan from March 1 to 11, 2021. This hockey championship intended to focus on the national assets, the youth of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is extensively promoting the President’s 2025 vision with extensive youth engagement. FIH announced 2021 youth’s year, and Uzbekistan remains among the top in the Central Asian Region in the promotion of youth activities.
6 teams from Men and 6 from women participated in these National Championships.
Women Teams:
- Andijan region
- Khorezm region
- Samarkand region
- Bukhara region
- Fergana region
- Namangan region
Men Teams:
- Andijan region
- Khorezm region
- Tashkent region
- Samarkand region
- Asaka town Andijan region
- Fergana region
Among women, Bukhara won the championship followed by Samarkand and Fergana respectively.
Whereas Andijan secured the title in Men followed by Asaka and Samarkand.
The 3rd and 4th final rounds of the championship will be held in April 2021.
